The London Klezmer Session ...

A monthly session attracting regulars and visitors. All welcome!

The new season's sessions are supported by the Jewish Music Institute and will be on the second Sunday of each month. The venue is the Calthorpe Arms, 252 Gray's Inn Road, London W1X 8JR.

Next session: Sunday 10 June, 2-4pm

The format is generally a workshop (1-2) where you can learn a tune and something about klezmer style. We usually start jamming around 2pm.

Bring an instrument and a melody, or just come to shmooze & booze. The pub does Sunday lunch and has plenty of room to sit and chat, as well as to play.

The workshop is £5, and the jam is free. All instruments and levels welcome, as are children.
