A day to learn more about klezmer, or be introduced to this magical repertoire by Ilana Cravitz (NKYO Director) and John Macnaughton (clarinet and sax player in bands Oysland and Raka).

We’ll be studying the National Klezmer Youth Orkester tunes and playing them together for the first time, looking at style, ornamentation, accompaniment and ensemble skills.

Players of all instruments are welcome

Age: 8-18 years

Level: grade 4 or equivalent and upwards

Cost: £35 (£25 concs), with scholarship places available.
