Jubilate Agno (Jeoffrey's Jubilee)

A short work for soprano, four-part strings and harpsichord continuo, written by Ilana in 2018 whilst she was on tour in Australia with the London Klezmer Quartet. Ilana was inspired by a call from Norwich Baroque for compositions based on the poem 'Jubilate Agno' by Christopher Smart (1722-1771), most famously set by Benjamin Britten in his cantata 'Rejoice in the Lamb'.
