In July 2020, in the dark days of the global COVID pandemic, Ilana created a burst of online summer klezmer joy, with a stellar line-up of klezmorim assembled to educate, entertain and inform. There was no minimum standard for participation, no geographical limits, and participants didn't even need to play an instrument! As well as plenty of music, the festival included Yiddish language, dancing, film, and professional skills classes. Whilst some sessions were geared to participation at certain levels, it really was 'access all areas', and Ilana ran a 3-session introduction before the festival for those who wanted to learn or refresh klezmer basics.
